Responsibilities

  • In your role, you will independently manage defined product groups in the areas of capital goods, buildings, services, maintenance work and consulting services.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding existing supplier relationships as well as searching for new partners worldwide.
  • You support and advise our specialist departments on purchasing issues, negotiate framework agreements and monitor compliance with framework agreements.
  • You prepare the annual price plans with confidence and prepare the purchasing KPIs and reports.
  • Active support for investment projects and their implementation are also part of your tasks.
  • You will carry out supplier evaluations, take part in the annual TÜV recertification audit and represent Central Purchasing in customer audits.
  • You will also be responsible for generating SAP orders and contracts.
  • You will be responsible for managing appointment tracking and maintaining SAP master data.

Requirements

  • You have completed further training as a business economist or technician, and a business or technical degree is an advantage.
  • You have several years of professional experience in purchasing or a comparable position.
  • You can quickly grasp technical contexts and are enthusiastic about them.
  • Initial international experience is desirable.
  • We require a good command of English, ideally you know SAP MM.
  • You take an analytical and structured approach to problems and convince with arguments.
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a pronounced ability to work in a team round off your profile.
